Fighting for the issues that matter to you

Campaign Priorities

These are the key issues driving Paul’s campaign.

  • People Over Politics

  • Science, Research, and Rural Development

  • Public Health and Access to Healthcare
  • Agricultural Sustainability and Farm Security

People Over Politics

Paul is focused on delivering results - not scoring political points. He’s running to break through the gridlock in Washington and put Illinoisans first. That means working across the aisle, listening more than lecturing, and prioritizing real-world solutions over partisan games.

Science, Research, and Rural Development

Innovation shouldn’t stop at the city limits. Paul supports robust federal investment in science, clinical research, and grant-funded initiatives that fuel progress in rural communities. From broadband and clean energy to university research and rural health trials, he’ll fight for the tools that help Illinois lead the way.

Public Health and Access to Healthcare

Every Illinoisan - no matter their zip code - deserves access to quality, affordable healthcare. Paul is committed to protecting rural hospitals, expanding mental health services, supporting reproductive freedom, and ensuring that healthcare decisions stay between patients and their doctors.

Agricultural Sustainability and Farm Security

Paul will stand up for family farms, support smart conservation practices, and ensure farmers have the tools they need to adapt, compete, and thrive. He’ll fight for strong crop insurance, fair markets, and policies that protect the next generation of producers.

A Stronger Economy and Fair Pay

Fair wages and shrinking the wealth divide are pillars to a healthy economy for our district. This is one reason why I am firmly pro‑union.  Unions raise standards for everyone, not just union members. When workers have a collective voice, they are better able to negotiate fair wages, safe working conditions, reasonable hours, and benefits like healthcare and retirement security. I am grateful to our union workers for the progress they’ve achieved for all of us. Their gains set a “floor” that even non‑union employers must match to stay competitive. This translates into higher wages and better conditions across Illinois’ communities and that’s an accomplishment we can build on.

A strong union also equals better education. Here’s how. When we back teachers’ unions, we are investing in better pay, smaller class sizes, and stronger professional development for educators. That stability and respect help us attract and retain talented, motivated teachers who focus on teaching rather than mere survival. In turn, the youth of Illinois receive a higher‑quality education, graduate better prepared for adult life, and become more competitive in the modern workplace. As your representative I intend to build a virtuous cycle of stronger schools, stronger workers, which means stronger communities for everyone.

Affordable, Accessible Healthcare for IL-15

One of Paul’s top priorities is making sure every person in the 15th District can get the healthcare they need - without fear, without delay, and without going broke. From rising premiums to hospital closures to the shortage of rural providers, healthcare is becoming harder for families across our region.

Paul is committed to fighting for policies that protect rural hospitals, lower costs, expand coverage, and ensure that care is available where people actually live.

Healthcare shouldn’t depend on your ZIP code. It should be a guarantee.
