Just Call Paul

When I made the decision to run for Congress, I did so in large part because Washington has lost touch with the people of Illinois. Too often, Congress resembles a reality show instead of a serious body entrusted with safeguarding our constitutional rights and strengthening our economy. I am running to help change that.
I take the word “Representative” both seriously and literally. The core responsibility of a Member of Congress is to bring the concerns of their constituents to the floor of the House and to work toward real, practical solutions that serve everyone, not just a privileged few. Whether you are a factory worker, teacher, doctor, nurse, truck driver, farmer, small business owner, or a single stay‑at‑home parent, my job is to represent you.
I am not interested in going to Washington for fame, fortune, or social media celebrity. I am interested in listening and working for you. That is why I am traveling every mile of this district to hear directly from you. If I earn the honor of serving you in Congress, I promise to listen more than I speak and to spend more time in conversation with you than in front of cameras.
A true open‑door policy cannot wait until after Election Day. It has to start now.
While some candidates may be satisfied with occasional public appearances or social media posts, I am committed to ongoing, direct communication. Effective representation begins with accessibility, and accessibility begins with listening.
Starting today, I am making my personal cell phone number available to you. If you have a concern, an idea, or a story you want your potential Representative to hear, I want to hear it.
To speak with me personally, call 618-510-9175. This line will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., seven days a week. Like you, I have work and family responsibilities, so if I cannot answer immediately, you will be able to leave a message, and I will return your call personally.
For too long, the people of District 15 have been overlooked. Our current representation has favored performance and empty promises over the hard, often quiet work of legislating. That ends today.
If you have something to say, pick up the phone and call me. I am ready to listen.
